Scrapbook Essentials BC is a scrapbooking and paper crafting store on Vancouver Island located at #103-847 Goldstream Ave , Langford BC, and is owned and operated by Stacey Rumsby.
Scrapbook Essentials BC opened in May 2011 as a mobile store. We traveled around the lower island with our store and set up during crops and retreats. We continue to be mobile and take our store to Pender Island during their monthly crops, set up at the Sidney Girl Guide fundraising crops as well as the Juan de Fuca Kinette’s fundraising crops….all in addition to our store.
Previous to opening Scrapbook Essentials BC, Stacey had a brick and mortar store called Scrappers Anonymous, owned with a business partner.
About Stacey
Business Owner – Retreat Host:
Stacey has been involved in the paper-crafting community nearing 28 years. Her paper-crafting journey began when one stamp was given to her as a going-away gift in 1995 and the creativity exploded from there.
Stacey grew up in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia and moved to Victoria, British Columbia in 1995 where she now lives with her supportive husband (that loves the crafty tools as much as she does) along with their daughter. She started out teaching friends and then became an Independent Rep/Instructor. Desiring more, she opened a Scrapbook Store in Victoria with a business partner in 2008. After the closure of her co-owned Scrapbook store, she branched out on her own in 2011 opening Scrapbook Essentials BC. She has been teaching many different paper-crafters of all ages and skill levels since 2006. In addition to teaching at her store, she has taught by request at local schools, at crops, for Girl Guide units, at retirement facilities as well at local businesses. Stacey loves sharing her passion for papercrafts and constantly challenges her design style. She is a past Design Team member with Dreamweaver Stencils as well as Craft and Glitz companies. Her teaching has been enhanced by the courses she has taken and has trained with worldwide leaders in the industry.
